Wanna know what I saw in November? Two awesome sequels.
Doctor Sleep
I guess when Stephen King wrote a sequel to The Shining, this was inevitable. Good thing it still turned out great. The direction superbly apes Kubrick's style while still having some awesome moments of its own. Obviously Ewan Macgregor is amazing, but the other cast members give their all as well. There's a genuine sense of menace here, but I wouldn't call it a Horror Film. It's more like a thriller. If I had any flaws, it's that their are some Stephen King-isms (the bad guy's called Miss Hat or something like that) and it has a slow beginning, but that seems kinda approp
